The fourth industrial revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, today remains a relevant phenomenon and is one of the most prominent topics internationally, both in industry and academia. The combination that can be implemented from Industry 4.0 is physical and digital technology that will lead to important changes in society and adaptation to a constantly changing environment. One of the supporting technologies for the Industrial World 4.0 is the Digital Twin. Digital Twin Technology is at the forefront of the Industry 4.0 revolution facilitated by advanced data analytics and IoT technology. Therefore, to discuss solutions to smart communities, one of the Bandung Institute of Technology research centers, namely Smart City & Community Innovation Center (SCCIC) invited Prof. Carlo Ratti as a keynote who will discuss the topic of "Digital Twin and Real Time Smart City Modeling and Operations". He is Director of MIT Senseable City Lab and Founding Partner at Carlo Ratti Associati Design and Innovation Office. This discussion will discuss insights regarding technological developments as broader knowledge for society in general and especially academics in Bandung Institute of Technology.
